Matt & Jody's Winter Lake Louise Engagement Shoot

On the day of Matt and Jody's engagement shoot, the Lake Louise area received nearly a foot of snow. This resulted in us needing to make some last minute planning changes and improvise. As true Canadian's we embraced the fluffy white mountain snow and headed to an area near Field, British Columbia.

Jody and Matt are hockey enthusiasts (my kind of people). They even met through hockey, Matt happened to be coaching a team Jody joined, following her return from captaining the University of Connecticut Huskies. So naturally, Matt suggested we go to the stunning Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise for some puck as part of their engagement shoot. I happily obliged!

This shoot was a...winter wonder, adventurous, rustic, filled with belly laughs, a hint of cozy and of course love. I look forward to their St. Albert, AB wedding this coming summer.
